    Over-packaging of Alain Mikli frames

Ever since Oliver Peoples started distributing Alain Mikli frames I have been overwhelmed with their highly unnecessary packaging! These fancy boxes that hold the case and frame are expensive, but no customer wants them. I hate to throw them away, but they are clogging my storage. I usually give unwanted stuff like POP back to the sales rep, but I know my AM rep wouldn't want to be burdened with all these boxes.

Can anyone think of a way to use them in a craft project or something? I hate waste!

I used to use Prada boxes as pen and pencil organizers for my desk drawers.

I just burned 300 Lightec/Koali cardboard boxes. I kept them for about 5 years (don't ask me why), and then decided to make space in the warehouse by tossing them. The goofy metal cases are being used for Medicaid glasses until we get rid of them.

That must have been quite a bonfire, Johns! And Optical Giant, there aren't enough pens and pencils to fill the zillion boxes I have!

It was! Due to the dry summer we're having, I had to stand at the ready with fire extinguisher in hand.

Years ago at LC we had a lady who took all those boxes and filled them up with homemade fudge she made and gave it to us in those boxes. If you know someone that likes to bake, that could be an option to go

Put them up on your local Craigslist as "Crafting Supplies", you'll probably get rid of them in a couple of days.
