I need somewhere between 100-200 trays. Do you have any pictures?
yes
I just switched us to a all bag system. .. will never use these again. I'll see what we got.
Sorry if this sounds like a stupid question. But what is your all bag system? You just put everything in plastic bags? Is it specific ones? Is it stackable or how is it organized? I am asking because I am getting tired of seeing trays everywhere. It is just so much clutter. If there is something that is more simple and organized, I would love to try it.
I can't imagine not using trays. The exceptions are big deep wrap frames large boxes of 1 day CLs for which we still use a tray which only contains a note pointing the drawer that holds the big items.
The nice thing about trays is you can have only numbers exposed to the public to avoid HPPA violations, and much easier to keep in numeric order than by name. Only problem is occasionally we have to wait for the computers to tell us which tray is assigned to a patient, but all in all a great system.
Bags? Do you reuse them?
Johns can speak up about this. From what I understand he uses a system similar to pharmacy bags on racks. If I wasn't already "all in" with trays, I'd be using a bag system like that ( and I will at our 3rd location opening in 2 months..)
I'll still use trays in the lab, but will transfer to bags for notification/pick-up.
you can see a few trays left that I have on the left side... imagine 80+ of those... worst part is the PT's could see the right shelf a lil through a doorway...
The way it works is, the front desk brings back the order to a spot where the billing person sits, put it in a bag there... then when its bill it gets put on the left side where any and all waiting jobs are... once in from lab it goes on the right wall to be dispensed.
everyone here LOVES how easy it all works.

I would pay $1.00 per tray for very clean ones (no adhesive labels or sticky residue) in good shape, + shipping. I especially like white and grey ones, and use both standard and deep. No black or weird dark colors.
I 2nd that.
I am curious though, where would I find those lab bags? What should I look up to find them?

#104 is the best size
Does anyone have any pictures of these bags (https://rxshelving.com/catx/catxdisp...gi?partkey=118) in their office that are a close up. I was thinking of getting the 104fb bags. Would I need to get any of the alphabet dividers or card pockets? Any help would be great.
