    Frame Warmer Comparison

Has anyone had any experience with this type of frame warmer?
    http://www.ebay.com/itm/SEGAWE-US-St...item3cd2507235

I've only ever used this type

Clearly there is a price difference between the two, but my laymen understanding is it's a glorified hair dryer. Are the cheap ones prone to break, don't get hot enough, ect? Or is there really no difference. Thanks!

I have used one very similar to the Segawe. I have had mine for about 12 years, it works beautifully and definitely gets hotter than your house hold hair blower.
I didn't attend the funeral, but I sent a nice letter saying I approved of it. Mark Twain

Have the Temp master and use it daily. Used one similar to the Segawe for years. I prefer the Temp Master for the platform to do certain alignments with both temples. Bad point about the Temp Master is the larger foot print on the counter. I found both work well for most average aligments though.

Redhot Jumper one of the most popular ones in Europe for the last 50 years. .......................

That type of frame warmer is one of the most popular ones in Europe for the last 60 years.

It actually was the electric first type after opticians used the old gas operated "Bunsen Burner", the first ones were converted hair driers.

Thanks for the info, i guess ill give one of the less expensive ones a shot then. I assumed maybe the heat controls on them were terrible so they always crazed lenses or something.

We have a Segawe too. It gets the job done and doesn't take up much room. Comes with a cover attachment to concentrate heat but I've never had to use it.
