    Wave Glass nose pads

Nose Pad King lists nose pads made of glass on their website but I can't find any independent info on these pads. Does anyone know anything about this kind of nose pad?

Tom's Design uses them on their frames. I've never had a problem with them. They use a small round button pad. Never discoloured. Never broke.

Also called "crystal" pads. Have used them in the past for hyper sensitive pts who couldn't tolerate silicone, latex, various plastic etc. They've been around for years. And certainly weren't cheap last time we ordered. I think they were close to $20 per pair - and that was darn near cost if memory serves.

The ones Toms Design use are crystal glass.

These sound dangerous, but sounds like people are having success. I personally prefer the TI nosepads for hyper sensitives.

"Bohemian Crystal" from Hilco. I have some. Never use them. I'm holding on to them like an heirloom diamond in case the dollar crashes.
