Thank you! I did make them myself. I had a patient ask me if I could make a skull eyeglass chain and I came up with the printed elastic eyeglass strap. So far they are doing great, especially the wine print.

Sure. It's a retail item and you should sell it for what the market will bear. Which you don't know until some one says they're too expensive in which case I'd say how much are they worth to you? It's not uncommon to charge $20 for new nose pads in malls.
Meanwhile they're a unique item. Why not try it?

My cousin went through the patent process for a couple of hockey related items only to have a corporate big boy step in after a lot of work and expense and offer to buy the patents for about what he paid to obtain them. They basically told him they'd make something just dissimilar enough to not infringe but their scale and marketing would smother him.
He sold to them and vowed never to attempt to do it again.
His costs were in excess of $10,000!!!
I've been through the process of getting a patent (http://www.google.com/patents/US6612697 ). It took two and a half years, and ran about $12K. Protection lasts 20 years, and you have to pay additional fees (about $4K) every 6 years or so to keep the patent active. You also have to be prepared to protect your patent by filing lawsuits against every company/person who tries to infringe. Unless you have very deep pockets, I would not recommend getting a patent for this item...there may already be existing patents, or may not enough of a variation on "open source" products to entitle you to patent protection.
You probably didn't want to hear that, but I've always believed in being well-informed about this kind of information.
