    "IS" pal ?

    not familiar with this one...three different patients this week came in wearing progressives with an identifier "IS" in a cursive diagonal pattern temporally. what be this beast?

    Are you sure it didn't say "ks"?

    that would be Costco's digital pal

    What do patients say about this lens? Do we know what progressive it is?

    it's an essilor blank, and it's a blended front and back PAL, similar to the definity.

    Similar in the fact that it is a dual sided design or similar in the actual barrel shaped corridor that the Definity had/has?

    dual sided, as for the shape of the corridor, it's not much different than the ovation,comfort, accolade, etc...
    Lot's of redo's for narrow intermediate zones, even in low adds.

    Pretty sure costco went digital, so they could go automated.
    But none of their stuff is 100% digital, for now anyways.
    They could if they wanted to, but having E as a major supplier has it's limitations, lol
