We have been using the titanium ar for awhile and its great! I have tried the Zeiss allure too and I think they are both excellent coatings. Of course anything branded is going to cost a bit more. My experience with any coating process is that its all dependent on the person in charge of quality control. I think identity does extremely well on QC, in spite of how fast they get our jobs back to us (2 days)! Also its worth mentioning the blue no-slip coating they put on the ar uncuts is great! I love that stuff it protects the lens and provides extra traction control. Pretty much eliminates the need for the backside stickers I have to use with Davis or Spectera jobs.

I have been using Identity/Titanium AR for about one year- no failures yet. I agree that QC has a significant effect on the short and longterm reliability of thin film coatings.

Peter is top notch. The key to great AR is not the brand, its first the hard coat. Some hard coats actually get harder during the process of ionization. Most AR machines unless they are new are not fully ionized. Most HC coats here in the US are spin. If you want a great AR get a Dip Hard Coat instead, with a fully ionized machine that will make that HC better. Combine that with a knowledgeable operator and commitment to structure (AR machines have to be cleaned very carefully) and you will have the best AR.

Too soon to say. My understanding is that the AR stack and probably the top coatings are Zeiss, probably in the Pure Coat Plus family. I'm not knowledgeable enough to comment on the substrate coating.

I agree with Sharpstick about Peter- give him a call for more info.

They have our business ... Peter and his crew are top notch ... out performing most of the 'bigger' labs we use. It's nice to bounce between the independent labs with great product and service.
Optilady1, you have a great independent lab right in your backyard down, in Kirkland. They are another staple/Go-To for our office.
