reflectance % of a non AR coated lens?

Is there a calculation to calculate how much more of a % of reflectance a particular index of lens will have with or without an A/R?

For instance, how much % will a 1.74 lens with an A/R coat reduce internal and external reflectance as opposed to a 1.74 lens without an A/R coat.

For instance, how much % will a 1.74 lens with an A/R coat reduce internal and external reflectance as opposed to a 1.74 lens without an A/R coat.

The reflection from the front surface is 7.3%.
Subtract this from 100% of the light reaching the front surface and this is how much makes it to the back of the lens.



So 92.7% makes it to the back of the lens, but you will have light reflected from the back surface as well.



With this, you know that only 86% of the light will make it through the lens on a 1.74.
