Sold my business!

On to newer horizons! I just closed on the sale of my business this past Monday. I'll be staying here in Indy for the next 60 days to help in transition for the new owner. I'm moving to Utah! Not ready to retire so I will have to get a job. exciting!

Congrats! Going downtown won't be the same for me anymore, admiring your shop as I cruised up Meridian St. Good Luck on your journey, and enjoy those beautiful mountains in Utah.

Thanks! My family has been living there since August. Monthly trips are getting old and costly. Dr. Colin Cristie will be operating Shimp Optical under the same name. And yes I love those mountains. I haven't decided what I'm going to do yet but I am taking the lab with me.

It is the ending of an era. I have heard so many great things about you and your office in my 15 years in the Indianapolis market. One of the truly successful optician owned offices in the area. My coworkers were shocked when I mentioned you sold. Who will we send our repairs to now? ; )

I am glad you are taking your lab. After all these years it, not having your equipment to work with would require you to pick up a different expensive hobby. After all, idle hands...

And a cool cave in the other direction. But it's a hike! Welcome soon to be neighbor. Just remember your gas mask. Our air pollution is as bad or worse than L.A. on an increasing number of days. If you don't have a gas mask...remember to chew before you breathe. Makes it a little easier to take.
