Does anybody know where I can get the "Advanced Opticians Tutorial" by Michael DiSanto etc.. for the ABO advanced exam?

YES, I know I can get it from nao.org website... But Jesus Christ, It's close to 300 dollars with shipping...Anywhere else?

Mr. DiSanto has passed away, but I believe his daughter still sells some of his tutorials. The advanced one may not be available through her if the NAO sponsered it and/or owns the rights.

You might also try Amazon.com They have all sorts of optical texts (mostly used, but in good condition). Good luck!

I looked for ages and was never able to secure a copy. Then one day the NAO had a sale...so I joined and got the book at the member sale price. That is probably the best way do it. I don't know if anyone would part with that book.

The book is a compilation of material by Mike DiSanto, Diane Drake, Randall Smith and Bill Underwood. The NAO frequently has their material on sale at the major meetings. I picked my copy up at the ABO-NCLE meeting, now called OptiCon a couple of years ago at a significantly reduced price.
