Does anyone know 100% for sure if the Quantum Optical Website is Ga State license approved for online CE Credits ?

I know 100% for sure that if they are not expired or by a dead author, they are approved.

BTW,
Georgia only accepts 5 approved online hours toward your renewal.

Diane, just curious why some state boards prefer in person CE's over online ones? I've been to plenty that half the class slept through and learned little as apposed to online/written ones require actually reading them to pass. Is it the potential of fraud? (i.e. Someone other than the designee taking it for them?)
Diane, Thank you so much for your quick response. I did contact the Georgia State Board directly and they told me to do my own research to find out which online courses were approved. lol They said they did not have a list of which online courses were eligible. That info was not much help to me. lol Your information was a great help. Have a great day.
Good question, George? Anybody up for an answer?
@optician73, FYI when you get an answer about GA licensing from Diane, you can bet it's board approved. =)
I've often wondered this as well. I proctored a great class put on by Professor Ed August at a POF meeting a couple of years ago. It was about frame construction and what differentiates a good quality frame from a poor quality one. When I collected the CE slips near the end, I saw one attendee had done a full page incredibly elaborate doodle during the class. She clearly had not paid attention. But she got credit for the hour to maintain her license. If I could have, I would have denied her the credit.
