VSP Marchon Preferred Provider program

This is a follow up to older post I've seen on this forum. I am hoping that someone can provide me clarification. It is regarding the VSP Marchon Preferred provider program. I've seen older post that mention this program's existence, but no details were mentioned about what it is. After speaking with the not knowledgeable Marchon reps, the only information I could ascertain is that this program is different from the VSP Premier program that is currently marketed on the VSP site.
Can anyone provide me some details specifically of the VSP Marchon Preferred program? Here is what I know so far...it is a Marchon program that allows you to bill in network to VSP, but the drawback is that the practice is not listed on the network of provider list.

As an optician, I find it frustrating that the major requirement to be accepted into VSP program is that the dispensary needs to be 51% owned by the OD. I'm sure there can be a backdoor deal that can be agreed upon with a OD to make this work, but I prefer not to go that route.

I'm trying to figure out a work-around to accepting VSP, but it just doesn't look good so far.

I'm not sure how keen anyone who's figured it out would be to put that info out on a public forum.

Maybe (and it's a big maybe) the paid subscription "Pro's" forum might have someone share it with you or pm you if it can be done.
