Do you remember them?

A Just Conversation discussion (Problem Identification) has me wondering...Any chance they could bring back the "Protective Lens Series"?

Younger had a sample chart that the patient held up to their eye and sometimes the response was remarkable.

The lenses were made with the filter at various wavelengths built in.

Or do the tints from various makers today make them cost prohibitive to Younger?

As a result of the tints available from the various makers, it is cost prohibitive to bring back this lens series where the color of the lenses was part of the entire lens composition.
Not too many people remember the demonstration card with the sample lenses. Glad to hear from a Veteran who remembers this sample display!
BPI carries a wide range of tints in their offerings.
