The woman who ordered them absolutely loved them, vision and all.

I got them for the exact same price as I would have trivex.

It isn't big news because Transitions FT-28s in Trivex have been available for a while.

I have seen the product. I noticed it looks a lot darker than Trivex and other poly FT28 I've used in the clear state.

Does anyone else have experience using the Transitions poly bifocals?? When I put them next to other Transitions poly it doesn't look the same, closer to the Trivex Transitions... just curious if others have actually seen or used them..

Maybe it does, I haven't had a pair in front of me for a while.

Everyone that gets one has been happy, no de-laminations or complaints. That's good enough for me!

There will be an announcement on Optiboard when the product officially launches.

I believe they've already been pulled due to quality issues.

I have had zero problems with them and 3 Rivers Optical has had no issues with me ordering them, maybe it was a bad batch at a specific Lab you heard of?

Transitions brand should be available on multiple lenses and materials including poly. it all depends on the lab you are using for your lenses. It has been available for a while. our lab does transition brand FT bifocals in trivex and poly getting good results with both.

Often they do quiet launches when there is not a full set of BCs available or stock levels are low.
