imatters has an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Clinical Supervisor/Director in Atlanta, GA

Responsibilities include:

- Selecting, training and developing, conducting skill assessments, and providing regular supervision of team of ophthalmic technicians.
-Establishing regular technician schedules to ensure clinic is properly staffed, optimal patient flow, and excellent support for physicians.
-Overseeing coordination of medical and pharmaceutical supplies including tracking inventory, ordering or arranging for orders and ensuring receipt so that smooth workflow is maintained and supplies are available
-Functions in a service role for the clinical team by supporting the ophthalmologists and optometrists to meet their clinical needs in a positive and timely manner for both the practice and the doctors.
- Regularly performs function of a Senior Ophthalmic Technician
- Requirements Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) Certified Ophthalmic Technician (COT) Certified Medical Technologist (COMT) or ROUB preferred. (Significant experience may replace certification.)
-Minimum of two years’ experience in a leadership position in an Ophthalmic clinical practice (such as Head Technician or Supervisor) strongly preferred.
