Job Title: Director, Content & Communications, Vision Impact Institute
Reports to: President, Vision Impact Institute
Position Based In: Dallas, Texas


JOB PURPOSE


Responsible for creating and executing a successful Content and Communications roadmap for raising awareness of the Vision Impact Institute worldwide; representing the Vision Impact Institute by deploying goals and objectives both internally and externally.




JOB RESPONSIBILITIES


• Work closely with external agencies to systematically search studies around the world and host relevant ones on the website. Ensure constant flow of new information.
• Have a strong link with DMS, Research & Development, and Global Engineering to identify their research priorities and select studies that could be hosted in VII site.
• Participate in the design and implementation of new studies sponsored by VII.
• Design and drive the strategic communications plan to grow awareness of the Vision Impact Institute
o Work closely with President to understand and to identify goals and objectives to align activities/events/projects to drive results
o Develop ideas to ensure relevant messaging is projected to organizational standards, through appropriate resources
o Work with Advertising and Public Relations agencies to deliver proper messaging and content on Strategy.
o Work directly with Advertising agencies to monitor progress and analyze results.
o Manage content for various communications channels – print, digital, events, (including digital, social media, the corporate intranet and web sites, as well as any relevant brochures, newsletters and other corporate publications and literature)
o Manage relations with:
 Internal Group stakeholders–Regions and Country Heads, and network of PR correspondents in different countries
 External stakeholders - media, public bodies
o Manage vendor relations and allocated budget
o Manage entire budget and coordinate with administrator on invoices, estimates, etc to stay in line with annualized budget
o Support President with internal/institutional communications


• Coordinate with Global Head of Corporate Mission communications in Singapore to ensure alignment of VII communications plan with the Corporate Mission communications plan
• Coordinate all related content (Studies and tests) at the VII and evaluate new studies to continue to grow database of exclusive content.
• Responsible for managing a $500k+ budget for the VII
• Attends global meetings interacting with all Headquarters (Paris, Singapore, Dallas) as well as VII Board Members and Global PR associations.




EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES


• College Degree/MBA, preferably in Mass Communications , Public Relations, Journalism or related field
• 5- 9 years experience in Corporate Communications/Content/Research
• Strong interest / experience in market / industry research, analytical skills.
• Proven track record in developing and executing communications strategy and implementation, including management of the different media.
