Confused Tranistion darker one spot than another - help

    Hi there,

I have a client who has recently flagged an issue with her new transition lenses being darker in one spot than the other when wearing them. I have asked the client for further information as to when, where, what the client is doing when this transition occurs and I am waiting for the response on these questions.

However in the meantime my client has forwaded me some images of what the transition looks like when the problem is occuring.

I will put it out there to ask help as to what could make this occur, any ideas?

Pictures are useless, she MUST bring them in for you to see. It's amazing how many times someone has called complaining that their lenses 'just don't change' and when I have them bring them in and expose them to the sun, magic happens.

Done that, put under direct UV lamp and transitions fine. So i asked for photographs of whats happening which is what has been supplied.

I would say the same that she needs to bring them in, but having already done that, and me already finding no problem other than slight lens stress upper temporal corners (no issue) always find it hard to find what the problem could be. So I need further info, e.g an image of what is happening. which is what the client has done for me, now that I have no idea of what would cause this shadowing on the lens other then client being half in shade half in direct sunlight I direct the question to a larger audience to see if any bright minds out there might be able to give further advice.

If the edges are polished, just make them mat.
This is happend on minus power with polished edges only.
