    I will give them a lot more benefit of the doubt than I have in the past ...........

    I would ask them if they want me to remove it. If the answer is yes if would take the lenses out the frame and put them into AR stripper and 10 seconds later rinse the lenses under water and insert them back into the frame. and have a happy customer who pays whatever I charge him.
