patternless eder help

I recently purchased a Santinelli Nidek LE 7070 SX type PLB patternless edger. The screen just has lines running down through it. The lady told me she sent the computer screen to Santinelli and they sent it back and said that it was ok and it must be the motherboard. She closed her shop and never fixed it. I am trying to start a new small business and do not have a lot of money to buy a new one. If I could fix this one it would be great. I called Santinelli and they are more interested in me trading in the old machine and selling me a new one. I cant afford a new one. Someone suggested me to post on this site and maybe someone could help me. I am located in NC. Is there any one around that can work on this type of machine or does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix it. I would greatly appreciate any help.

If it's a motherboard then I don't think there is any way around it other than replacing it. Sometimes I think those screens are designed to fail after 2 years.

I'm Santinelli edger ignorant, do they support external monitors?
