I haven't gone that deep in the 1000, it was an assumption considering everything the 1200 does.
It looks like a drill issue from the picture. It would be easier to confirm with some PAL markings.
When both lenses slip 1 degree in the same direction (ie both slip clockwise) on a regular non-drill job, we probably "pass it" and it goes un noticed. HOWEVER when this happens on a drill job this can be hard to hide...especially on a silhouette type of frame, where the inside drill hole is 6 mm from the lens edge.
In these rare cases, we use our easy drill press to sort of tweak the holes and try to correct the problem, often using some uv glue as a shim to fill the gap in the now bigger holes.
Actually, the Santinelli/Nidek manual uses the blocks, rather than scribed lens lines or PAL markings, to vet axis.
For the Tracer/blocker, you would use lines and check against the block.
For the Edger, only the block matters. This is the adjustment I made. Now perfect.
If the lines are correct against the block after blocking, and not after edging, you have slippage issues.
