That is exactly what the job of a Optician has become. Data entry and insurance filer. Sometimes we need to be reminded to refer back to Webster dictionary and look up just what a "Optician" is. We have been taken from and lost sight of what our real duties are.
Could you imagine expecting that of a OD or MD? God forbid. That is not what they went to school for. And for the most part nor did we. But that is what it has evolved into. But I see you asked for a "Optical sales person", not a Optician.
OK I apologize now. I'm off my stump. Just a grey ugly day here and no sunshine to brighten the spirit. But you must admit what I have said is true.
