    Edgers

I've been mulling over edgers for a wile and would love to see what y'all think.
I've become partial to the Brio Alta, it's quick clean and the geek in me likes the "robotic" sounds it makes. :^)
I'm using a santinelli lex 1000 and 900 right now and both perform well, but seem to take longer and the 900 loves to fall out of calibration. I trained on a Spartan and a Professional and wile both can be great work horses they are a bit on the temperamental side. I've seen the 7E in action and I think I could like that, more than a bit.
What are some of the others out there and how do they do?

I use a Santinelli ME1200 in just about every mode of operation, and I can tell you that it Never falls out of Calibration. I do have annual professional maintenance, and We do keep the chamber, under wheel and lens feeler tops fastidiously clean each day.

    FWIW.

Glad to hear from another edger cleaner. :^)
Thanks for the reply Berry, it actually does help a bit. One of the Doctors I work for is thinking about getting a new edger and wanted my advice on it. I told him I'd look around and what I thought of the ones I have used.

I'm running a 15+ yr. old National Optronics 6e, my next edger will be an N.O. I'd love to get a 7ex. As with most things keep them clean and they will last.

I've never heard of them, but at 15+ years I'll take it it's a work horse that wont die.
    Edit:
Right 7E I'm all kinds of bright right now...
