Hi Joe-
Did I recently notice a new compression mount design for drilled rimless so the countersunk hinges no longer requires a much thicker edge for thin lenses?

I use Luzerne Accurx and Interstate.
If memory serves me the edge was only as thick as the posts and the hinge did not protrude (I could be wrong on that) but the bushing looked modified.
Sorry I forget which lab sent the job. Maybe a call to the techs at one of them has details.
Hi Joe, great product, I enjoy selling them.
I have been using Silhouette compression mounts for the last 9 years and have not seen or heard of anything new for drill mounting.
Hard to improve on something that works so well.
Silhouette does have a few alternative bushings for their mounts. One for thin lenses that seems to be open all the way through, another a bit larger for oversize holes (NOT the plastic 2mm hole size), and also extra long for very thick lenses.
Hope this is what you were looking for.
