    Briot eMotion

I am facing an expensive repair to my 8 year old Briot Accura CX edger so I am looking at replacing it. Does anyone have any experience with the eMotion? What would you buy if you were in my shoes? My budget is $25 including trade in.

did you mistype that or was it sarcasm? What went wrong with your Accura? I generally don't like Briot because of their plastic gearign. Although they bought Weco the gears are metal and more durable in the Weco's. I have a line of newer Weco 580s that have held up well if you keep them clean. Santinelli offers some great features, but is pricey and slow. I still have a line of AIT Indo edgers that have also held really well in the lab, and are fast. Optronics 7E is fast, but I don't like the cupped edge so I don't recommend it for a high end shop.
