I found out about this AR a wile back, but so far only ABB's lab uses it. Has any body used this AR and if you have what are your thoughts?
What I have heard:
No colored reflections
Made for the lens material
on par with Sapphire

Glacier Plus AR, very impressive I got my first set months ago, HI-1.60 Transitions, no problems. I've put a few of my patients who demand more from their AR's into it, so far no complaints. Believe me, these folks would let me know if the product did not perform.
I didn't attend the funeral, but I sent a nice letter saying I approved of it. Mark Twain
I look forward to testing it out. Will let you know after I get some samples, run it through some paces but it may be a few months.
Thanks Sharpstick777, apparently they are doing a slow roll out, you might even say glacier slow...sorry had to :^)
Paul, thanks for the info on it. I've been wanting to try it for the better part of a year, and can find very little on it. Even though it's been out in Europe for ever.
Heard about this several weeks back ourselves. Although, for it's cost (literally almost identical to Sapphire), it had better perform at that level. I have yet to order one here, but perhaps in future.
Does anybody know what category it falls under through VSP? or if its even covered by them yet?
To the best of my memory, DEL is not a VSP contract lab. If they're the only one's to carry this lens so far, the VSP question is moot until something changes. With that said, I would think it very safe to assume it will take VSP a good year to three years to even have it register on their radar, and then will likely be a C or D category.
