Redhot Jumper Looks like "Coastal" has stopped its heavy advertising ..............................

For the last few days I have observed that the Coastal advertising on heavily visited websites has totally stopped or has become invisible.
Would be interesting if the new Lords and Owners are now getting it into a new and profitable cycle ?

Some thoughts about it over the long weekend ?

Since 90% of their marketing was to advertise a free pair, and the free pair is no longer, voila. The moment they stopped giving away free glasses they became more profitable.

Why would they shut it down. Was it affecting the sales at their other websites.

    No, I'm just being sarcastic.

When Essilor had a professional relations guy on another website, he said that Essilor would stop the free pairs marketing, and six months later they have.

Redhot Jumper Why should they shut down a company that sells a few million pairs of glasses a year

Why should they shut down a company that sells a few million pairs of glasses a year, that is now a guaranteed buyer of their owners manufactured lenses as well as frames of which they also own bundle of manufacturers.

E is also the largest owner of on-line optical sellers world wide at this time and has not re-sold or shut down one of them over the last few years. All these companies have to purchase the products from E if available.
