Well....Friday I spent half of our 2015 advertising budget on this:

Picture this goofy vehicle, plastered with our store logo on it, driving from office to office. Granted, I don't think you'll catch ME driving it, but my wife swears she's all about it, so it's all hers!

    http://www.eliomotors.com/

We should get it sometime around March.

I'm sticking w/my F150 crew cab, but this thing does look kind of cool, and even if it only get 70mpg....I won't complain!

Let me know how it goes and I may buy one to leave in the parking lot during the day. I could let one of my employees drive it.

Good or bad, it will definitely garner attention. Would probably fit in the back of your F150 when it breaks down!

Hey I ride a 2014 Harley Davidson Street Glide and I have a F-150 Lariat also. I have been seeing those Elio cars advertised for a while. I'm thinking I would like to play around in one just to see what it is like.
Now put your business name and phone number on it and park it in front of the office and use it just to run office errands. I"m thinking it will do just what you want it to. Garner attention......and then they see your business name and number. Can you say money well spent. Cha-ching!
Then you will have those nay sayers that will tell you advertising on a corner street bench does not work as they are sitting there reading the ad on the bench. What ding a lings.
Just always have to ask yourself, "now how much return will I get, and how can I gauge it, on this advertising dollar spent?"
If you have the only Elio car in town and it is the right color along with the right graphics, in my mind you have a winner.
I guess compare it to the Oscar Mayer weiner mobile. When we see it we all know what it stands for.

It will get more attention than an add in the local paper. And if your local paper advertising costs are anything like ours, it was prob a lot cheaper than the paper!

That's exactly what I was thinking. Use it to run to the post office, make some deliveries, etc...

I love it. It's cool. Your wife's going to get a lot of attention driving that thing.

    (Hmm. Is that good?)

Redhot Jumper The variety of odd little vehicles built during the German microcar craze of the 50s

Maybe its time to bring back the old Goggomobil from 1959 which came even in a convertible and was as small as this one ........................

    1959 Goggomobil 300cc or limousine

Goggomobils were among the most popular of the variety of odd little vehicles built during the German microcar craze of the 50s and early 60s. While we would like to attribute this popularity to the fact they were sold with one of the coolest names ever given to an automobile, something tells us it took more than that to sell the 214,313 Goggo sedans built between 1955 and 1969.

Despite the fact so many were built, and knowing that Goggomobils were at one time officially imported to the US we're always amazed at how impossible it is to locate one in this country. Of the handful of Goggomobil sedans that are to be found in the US, we'd be willing to bet few are as nice as this well-kept 1960 T300 and matching travel trailer currently listed on Ebay.

And if it breaks down give me a call and I will come on my bike and give you a tow to the nearest repair shop.

That make them all the more desirable! Yes, the deposit gets you a number in line. Order before the 1st and you get an extra $500 down.

Remember, you'll need a motorcycle license to drive it. I'd get one for sure, then have it wrapped with the office info. hmmm... maybe offer it as a bonus to wholesale customers. "Buy advertising on our delivery car!"

The hearing aid place here drives one of these around town wrapped in their logo and a neon green body. They leave it parked at the street when not in use. I know exactly where they are and what they do, and I've never had need of a hearing aid place, but I tell people about!

Cool...my wife has always wanted a bike!

Because it has three wheels — two in front and one in the rear — the Elio is actually classified as a motorcycle by the U.S. government. But Elio Motors founder Paul Elio says the vehicle has all the safety features of a car, like anti-lock brakes, front and side air bags and a steel cage that surrounds the occupants. Drivers won’t be required to wear helmets or have motorcycle licenses.
