Full service lab or finish? What lab do you use? Florida

A friend is opening a retail location in St. Augustine Florida. He is considering putting in a full service lab.
I suggested that it wouldn't be cost effective. If he is ordering mostly AR lenses from an outside lab, the few orders he can do in-house wouldn't pay for the equipment. I suggested starting with finish equipment then adding full service later if business dictated.
    Good advise or not?

Also, what lab would be recommended to do his AR and surface work? An idea on what these labs charge?

    Thank you all,
    Rob

Why not send out surfaced blanks for A.R. coating only instead of losing completely on the job?
