I know I may be walking on egg shells here since there are differing opinions on manufacturer spiffs. However it is nearing the end of the year and I am in need of a few letters and willing to trade off some letters which I have as duplicates. I'm hoping to have the TV to raffle off during the holiday season.

I am in need of an A or a Y or both.

Naw. These aren't like spiffs so much as they are like the McDonald's Monopoly game. No matter how much you think you won't play you end up saving the game pieces anyway. Then you get down to missing only one or two pieces and it is a harrowing experience.

I have a bag of game pieces - if there is time I will take a look for you.

I rec'd a call from my in-house Varilux rep asking me how they could improve my business. I told them to knock out the games and spiffs, and get us a better price. They know that most of us don't have time to sit down and piece puzzles together, so they're not losing anything anyway.

Do vendors to other professions act this way to their accounts, or is it just eyecare ??

Do tire vendors tell the mechanics to take time out from fixing cars, clean up and past stickers onto a gameboard, and maybe they'll get a deal on their next order ?
