    Coburn Cobalt DS Line.

    Hi Everyone,

Im planning on going free form and looking at the Cobalt DS generator and the Cobalt Polisher along with the E2G or Eclipse blocker. Has anyone used this line or any of the Coburn Free Form Generators? Can you throw some light on the advantages and disadvantages of this set up? Also does anyone have an idea as to the approximate price of this set up?

Also about software. What is the best Software for free form Lens designs in the market according to you guys? Also if you can include the price it would be really helpful.

    Thanks in advance.

I can't comment on the Coburn equipment, as I'm really only familiar with Schneider and Optotech.

The lens design aspect, however, I'd recommend looking at IOT designs. I've found that they offer a great range of lens designs, and we have very few problems with patients getting wear them. If you're looking for your own brand or are a self-consumer, it's the way to go.

If you want to get into the details of price, I'd suggest you send a message to hyperoptic as he's the best one to help you with that.
