Lenses to protect pilots from laser blinding incidents? DoD research report.

Brief report (with short video segment) on FOX Business online :

    http://www.foxbusiness.com/technolog...or-for-troops/

This caught my eye (of course) :

lenses that have a pixelated response system that darken a portion of the lens when pointed light is directed towards the pupil
More and more news reports about incidents where cockpit crews report hazardous conditions from people on ground with powerful handheld laser pointers or laser pens.
