I sell frames for a living, but have owned optical stored and been all around the biz in Michigan. Today when I saw an optician printing individual labels for recall patient by patient going through the files...i had to put on my office manager hat. I began to ask questions about how they were doing certain things. Then for the next hour I gave them a lesson on their software. At the end of the meeting, we were hugging and crying. This poor backed up office had no training, and was getting further behind every day.
if you have software probs, billing probs, edger probs, lab probs, please reach out to someone!! Dont (as we used to say at the lab) dont go optical!
