Currently driving an '09 Malibu with 126k.

Before that it was a '00 Ford Taurus with 200k+, and before that I was driving a '90 Geo Prism with 300k+ it was originally my parent's, the same car I learned to drive stick shift on. It was a Toyota Corolla clone, it even said Toyota right on the engine.

1962 Volvo 122S... finally sold it in 1975 with 280+K on it and for $50 (odometer only went to 100K, and it re-started 2 times). I know that in 1993 it had been "restored" and was still on the road in Cornwall NY. Wish I had it now! The only issue I ever had with that car was the exhaust system... carried flex hose, an old blanket to lie on, and coat hangers in the trunk for emergency repairs. Also, if I remember correctly (as my parents owned only Volvos from 1958 onward, and I might be mixing up their many 944s), the gears were not synchronized, so you had to start all over from first, and downshifting was interesting.
P.S. I replaced it with a 1975 AMC Gremlin for about $2K. What a mistake THAT was!

It is, I have one hell of a commute to get to work. Just kidding, I got the van used for another purpose and it already had 300K miles on it but I use it for driving to work anyway. I like the captains chair style seats in minivans

1996 Camry V6 I bought new. Gave it to my daughter in 2006 and it gave out @ 270,000+ six months before she finished grad school. New experience to go car shopping with her and doing everything in our power not to let the salesman know that we HAD to buy a car TODAY! Love the Toyota's (Camry {gone}, wife's 2006 Avalon w/ 175,000, and my 2010 Tundra w/ 90,000). Couldn't find another Camry so she ended up with an Accord. Our mechanic, when asked by customers what they should buy says, "Toyota or Honda. We don't repair them, we maintain them."

I've put 645 miles on it since Tuesday, so it's got 265,112 now.

Not me, but my co-worker has a '98 Honda Accord she still drives to work with 375,000 miles on it. I had a '97 Accord, but gave it to my daughter when it had over 200,000 miles. She's still driving it here to work every day. My '03 Lexus has a young 125,000 on it.

We just bought my 17 y.o. daughter her first car... A 1987 Honda Civic with 34,000 original miles. And no, I do not mean 134,000 or 234,000 miles. I was owned by a typical "little old lady" who averaged 1200miles/year. It still has a carburetor and crank windows. There is very little rust, which is amazing for here in central NY. She LOVES it! I can't wait to see how many miles we are able to put on it.

I thought you meant cars with the highest mileage per gallon. I've got two good ones...a 2010 Prius that gets right around 51 mpg city and highway. And a Mitsubishi iMiev electric that gets the an mpge of about 100.
