    Confused Abb digital lenses.

So the doctor I'm working with is looking at the ABB Optical digital lab and I was wondering if any of you have used them and what you found. Have they been working well and if you have any comments.
Right now we use the InTouch mostly and the lab house brand that's based on the ITO.
Thanks in advance for any help.

They're super quick, and they do a good job. The AR isn't up to par with what I get from other labs.

With the merger of ABB and ODG, ABB Optical Group now offers Digital Eye Lab (DEL) to its vast customer base. DEL is the 4th largest private lab in the US. Excellent turn time (48hr) and customer service. AR is Claris HD which is a hydrophobic, oleophobic lens coating that comes with a 2 yr warranty. Try them and you will be pleased.

I got a pair for myself when they were soliciting our business, and didn't like them, narrow channel , backside surfaced, didn't like them, went back to my Hoya Amplitude

Customer service excellent...great turnaround time, from a lab located in our neck of the woods...Nice price point. See above AR warranty...Put 'em on the list! Hope this helps...

Same ABB Optical Group that just partnered with Superior Vision for CLs. Some pretty unhappy ODs out there.

I think a mix of both.

If they are just a back side then it's not worth it. Seems like they try and use freeform and back side digital interchangeably, so that has me a bit concerned. Davelp, thank you for the answer I think that might push me to stay where I am.

Very unhappy ODs. So unhappy an emergency session of the Power Hour was convened so that ABB's top brass could state their case as having no knowledge that Superior intended to use ABB to bypass the ODs and go direct to Superior members. On the ODs on facebook, there were recommendations to dump ABB and take your contact lens business to OOGP (which just so happens to be owned by...)

Is there anyone left to like out there?

Hi just curious as to why your wearing a Hoya Amplitude when there are so many other better lenses (Hoya IDMystle or IDLifestyle) or other brands available?

They have a new, supposedly better AR for any order they do and Shamir's Glacier AR (presumably for Shamir orders only).
