Can’t PASS THE NCSORB contact lens practical skills exam?

Learn contact lens fitting from Canadian industry training experts, IN ONLY 3-MONTHS!!!.

Many USA opticianry programs offer 200 credit hours of CL training in their 2-year AAS programs. Our Canadian 3-month CL program consists of 260 hours of intensive, fast-paced classroom instruction and includes comprehensive empirical fitting of specialized RGP lenses… front toric , back toric and bitoric RGP lenses. And we include the advanced fitting technique of using ‘lens flexure’ to avoid RGP front torics when indicated.

Hands-on fitting techniques for soft toric, bifocal lenses, large scleral lenses and regular soft and RGP CL lenses. CL instrumentation is covered including the various slit lamp illuminations and their uses, radiuscope, keratometer, flourescein patterns, pathology, insertion and removal techniques, CL follow-up, etc.

BC College of Optics CL graduate’s success on Canadian National examinations is “as good as, or better” than many Canadian 2-year public College opticianry graduates and we consider BC College of Optics training as second to none.
See (www.nacor.ca) National Examinations p.17 of Candidates Exam Handbook for what is included in Canada’s NACOR National ‘Advanced Practice CL Exam’ Optical Sciences.

BC College of Optics offers three (3)-months of intensive CL classroom training, not a quick review of what was on the last NCSORB exam. Formal opticianry education requires dedication and is not inexpensive. Our CL textbooks are Volume 1&2 from the Contact Lens Society of America.(CLSA).

Located just outside Vancouver, BC CANADA our CL classes begin May 12, 2014 and will end August 15th, 2014 with a 1-week summer break from June 30 to July 4th, 2014. Please note: USA residents do not need a Canadian Study Permit to take our 3-month CL program.
