    Puzzled by a plastic frame...

I've run into a type of plastic that I've never seen before. The material is translucent in color, very lightweight, but does not change shape or slightly stretch when warmed. It has a press-on (on pegs) nose pad assembly, and non-core, very thin temples that are snap mounted onto the front.

I've got no idea how to work this frame, does anyone have any idea what it is?

I ended up having to cut the lenses about .5 mm undersize in circumference and then rolling the apex of the bevel to snap the lenses in place. There has to be a better way.

definitely sounds injection molded, grilamid (nylon). many oakley suns are made of this too.
it is tougher to adjust and handle, not malleable like acetate.
    What brand is it?

    Thanks, Jerry.

How, if it is possible, can the frame be adjusted, for example, reshaping the temples?

It hopefully has bendable tips on the temples otherwise you are SOL in the adjustment category. Bevel curve choice is very important.
