Any Truth to This Rumor?

Word on the street is that Michael Kors is destined to join the Dark Side very soon. Some would say they are already there because they are with Marchon and Marchon is vertically integrated with VSP. Any truth to this rumor? It was heard up in Asheville, NC this weekend at the Grove Park Inn shindig.

I had a conversation with a LC district manager recently and she said that lux has a contract to make MK for Marchon.
I think the only reason she said it was because I questioned the list of brands she was rattling off to impress me.
Seemed kind of weird to me at the time but I just figured she was mistaken. She said I would be surprised at how many frames lux makes under contract for other companies. I thought she was full of BS but maybe not, just think they could be subversively making frames for all the major brands and we would never know.

I love rumors! Back in 2007, the Charmant rep told me that Charmant owned ALL the titanium mines in the world. (I thought they grew on trees). Fast forward 13 years, and the US Space Program stops the shuttle program. Coincidence? You decide....

My MK rep told me that it's a rumor. Lux has raised some interest in the matter, but it will be down to shareholders for a final decision after an offer was made, but she seemed skeptical it would go through. MK does well it my office; I'd hate to see Lux buy it and the quality decrease.
