    Looking for "package" frames

I understand that wholesale prices should not be posted. But I would appreciate any suggestions on frame lines that would be good to offer to patients as packages for the price conscious shopper, or just a second pair. Ex: Complete pair of SV glasses for $79. Obviously to offer this type of deal I would need to find a frame line that offers a very competitive price point. Too many companies require creating an account to get pricing info which is a pain. So any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thank you.

    I refer them to Zenni!

Or......look in the back of some of the trade rags (Eyecare Professional Magazine is my favorite) and look into some of the companies there that sell closeouts, overstocks, dogs, and unwanted styles.

    Hi Matt,

There is a company called Ideal Optics that pretty much has what your looking for...hence "ideal optics." Ha! Anyway, they have frames from A to Z quality and price wise. For my lower end selections I offered packaged pricing. The deal was that if the patient is purchasing "coated lenses," of some type, I would discount the frame at 100%. Some may not agree with that deep of a discount but it works wonders for patients who would normally buy glasses elsewhere or their insurance didn't contribute that much towards materials. Sometimes after doing the numbers this deal would beat the total out of pocket post insurance.

I would check with your lab. Most offer a " Extreme Value Package" frame and lenses. We almost always have the frames in stock and they get shipped in 1 or 2 days with the basic lenses.

Try New York Eye. They have several styles in their Enhance and Jubilee collections that sell well here.

Ditto to what Andy said.....Ask your lab if they have any packages This is the best way if you don't finish/edge.

If you finish/edge (I do), I've used the parade line by avalon over ten years now.

Another plug for the Modern green lines, quality is to be expected but a good profit can be made. Modern has excellent support and we see about 1 failure in 20.

I have had nothing but great success with Modern. From the reps, to the customer service...top notch.
