    Which machine, edger or tracer?

If it was the tracer, remove the frame carrier, and clean all the contacts with alcohol, then replace and cycle the power.

this is not an error. It is a warning. This only happens when you trace a frame or pattern smaller than 25mm of height. The CAD 3 warns you then that you need to use small chuck. The time the software was written they didn't make a Warning message. The Error 18 position was free so they used this message. Simply press C and proceed with decentration

    Actually you can

You need to get into Service menu.

Press the buttons in the exact order. CAL, CH, . (Decimal dot!)

You will see a Menu with some values and a square shape in the middle of the screen

With ENTER-button you can move the cursor to the next value

Go to bgr Value (Default is 29) and change it to 20.
Simply put in the new value
    Confirm with ENTER

Keep pressing enter untill the image will refresh. And your cursor is again in the first value.

Get out of this menu either by pressing CAL or WECO.

    This should do the trick.
BTW. The exact meaning of the E18 is that if you use the big Chucks the drill will collide with the chuck.
