    Sunglasses and LCDs

Sooo, I feel like I need to offer a round seg bifocal that instead of the bifocal being an add power, having that portion of the lens without polarization so people could read their LCD's while still having the benefit of polarized lenses.... I wonder if that would work? Unless someone has a better solution.

I just got a pair of transitions for THIS reason. mind you, i hate transitions, but they work really well for this purpose and i do read a lot outside. i think its every tablet that has this problem except the IPad. i was tired of turning it (my kindle fire) sideways so i could read it (also an option for these patients) i'm not sure if you could just get the seg w/out polarization?

Well I was thinking more for driving, since a lot of newer cars have LCDs for displays. I don't think anyone actually makes a lens like that, but it would be handy for drivers who needed polarized lenses but had LCD screens.

all depends on the panel style too. Older LCDs are terrible, but most newer ones dont rainbow out. my suns only black out at a 45 degree angle, but otherwise all is good. I can see all of laptop and Galaxy nexus.
