    iScript and VSP billing

Vsp dictates in billing site, that ALL iScripts are aspheric even a low script cr-39. Which in turns tells us that we need to charge $33 more even tho they are not getting a asp lens.

The opticians were deleting a line and making the $$$ line up but not sure if it works out in the EOB's (gotta research that yet)

I refuse to charge them another 33 for something they are not getting.

And I got some iScripts and they are some 6base cereal bowl lenses... so I know the REP was wrong in saying that all are asph....

Anyone know the best way to bill/ charge?

The BA option code that applies is no longer refereed to by VSP as being for aspheric only, it is now for digital aspheric lenses of which the iScription is one. Now I don't deal with the iScription lenses so I don't know if there is a way around the charge and the charge back, but I'm going to guess that there is no way around it. And that VSP is going to say that if you're sending the data you have to charge it out.

    how are you ordering them?

i'll have to look back through some of our explanations of payment and all that.... also our rep was a huge help initially when we started with iscription, since, VSP has changed a few things and she has been there to help us through the changes.

Thanks, we are looking into this some more. I also called zeiss and asked if they were "all aspheric" and even they confirmed that is a NO. "it depends... "

I really want this to get figured out... not only for billing but for the base curve issues. Mine check out at a max of 7 base, and that will not work in all frames (none except a sport wrap). I had to melt the crap out of my frame to get it to fit and it had a 6 base stock lens in it.
