I try, but I don't always succeed. I had looked for a definition earlier, but what I found was as ambiguous as what you've just provided. Dismay to joy, all in the same word. How, um, useful...

    Or, the obvious:

SNAP - the SuperNova Acceleration Probe - is a proposed space observatory designed to measure the expansion of the Universe and to determine the nature of the mysterious Dark Energy that is accelerating this expansion.

There, now we've officially derailed this thread! (Sorry OP. anything past 4 pages is dangerous!)

If a stranger pops in off the street & they want the pd, I say well I charge a fee for that. Basically $10 for PD/$10 for verification that their new specs are correct/ & $10 to adjust the final product. I call it 10/10/10. Persoannly I prefer 20/20/20. It's your call. But we don't work for nothing!

Or if I already have their history on file, I give them the PD if they can tell me precisely what they want. I ask them if they want their 40cm pd or their infinity pd.

It looks like that is the first post on OB that admits the real facts and make good use of today's new trend.

I changed my mind...take the PD and tell them is immediately available at your website.... for free! Free provided that they buy otherwise there is a charge. If they want the PD immediately, otherwise it takes a week to get the records and another week to photocopy and then mail it by registered mail.
