Metal hinge supplier for nylon/acetate frames?

Hi,

I am looking for a high quality metal hinge manufacturer for a pair of sunglasses I am developing. The only hinges I can find are low quality ones from Japan that become loose after minimal use. Can someone point me in the right direction? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

Google obe hinges from Germany, pricy but durable! Sometimes, it is not the hinges, it could be the heating temperature. Just my opinion!

Thank you for the reply Jerry. Any guidance on suppliers that provide hinges that can be riveted onto a frame? I looked through obe and didn't see any models with rivet holes.

Try Tomio Chik @ keeptouchasialtd@ymail.com He imports European and Japanese parts for Chinese frame factories. You might want to check your rivet press too. Make sure you mill the groove precisely and set the part on the jig snugly.
