Question about compensated RX's. Our office does a high % of compensated lens and every once in awhile we get one that compensates an axis >30 degrees off of prescribed. We doubt it but trust the algorithms and dispense the eyewear to the patient and they love them. The question is what causes the large change in astigmatism axis? I understand wrap can change the axis quite a bit, but these glasses are on a 4 base so fairly flat.
Thanks everyone for producing a great forum full of wonderful information.
