    Progressive designs

    So we just had a zeiss lab rep tell us that the design on one of the lenses we use is from 1986 and it hasn't changed since.... Really? I'm sorry, have your progressive lenses stayed the same since the first ones you did? I'm pretty sure that just like your lenses get better so do other company's lenses. Hmphh. I love my zeiss stuff...but sometimes lab reps drive me a little nuts.

    Ask him if he's got anything with such a proven technology? The design isn't 'old' it's 'Tried and True' :)

    It has to be either Sola's VIP or Essilor's Super No-Line. I doubt we can still get AO's Truvision.

    One of the new high end varilux lenses. I forget which now that a couple hours have passed.
