Good morning!
I've spent the morning searching this board and other resources trying to figure out what lens a patient was fit with. I've thus far (obviously) come up short. I'll start by saying I don't need to duplicate this lens, the patient is very happy with the Physio Enhanced Fit's that we used. She wants to replace lenses in another frame and by my seg measure, I'm getting a 13mm. Low, but do-able with the right lens. Here is where it gets fun. The current lenses are fit well from the patient's perspective. My 13mm seg is right on the 180 line for the existing marks. What I'm trying to figure out is where the fitting cross should be (4mm, 2mm, on the 180). My thought is, the lenses work for her, so I don't want to fit the new lens where I think it should be and have that not work so well.
I've never seen the marks, the 2013 OLA book does not show them. Also, the OD lens has NO markings, they are only OS.
Markings are all in a dot pattern, they are not solid symbols and letters/numbers.
alignments dots are circles.
above nasal mark is D5, the 5 is subscript
below nasal mark is 53 (if I had to guess, I'd say that's material and would most likely be Trivex. Lenses sound trivexy)
below temple mark is the ADD, in two digits
A part of my is thinking I've got some house brand lenses on my hands and then it's anyone's guess.
And, I know, I could try to get in touch with the dispensing provider, but where is the fun in that?
Thanks in advance for any help you all can offer.
