Hi
My name is Shailender and I am a medical doctor (MD) In New Delhi, India. Our family owns an optical practice since 1951 and I also joined it after my medical graduation. Its been 20 years in the business now and I have done pretty well in managing a few locations- more hands on and management oriented as well.
I am considering moving to Canada ( B.C being the first choice) now with my family but would like to continue working in my role as a passionate eyewear dispenser.
Rather than starting all over again, I would rather partner with a like minded optician/optometrist there and together we can grow his/her practice there. My major strength would be sourcing, marketing and customer service.I can invest financially in the business along with my full time hands on role.
I would be coming to Vancouver in the next couple of weeks or so and would love to meet up some independents to compare notes . Look forward to some suggestions from senior members on how to go about this as well.
