    Thumbs up Transitions NG Lenses

We have been using the Transitions NG since January 2002, and with great success. Our clients love the clearer indoors and the darker outdoors tint. Because our UV is quite harsh here in NZ we did tend to find that the Trans 111 fatigued rather quickly and did discolour within 2 years. I try and sell all of our Trans NG with the Crizal 2 AR coating for better results with glare, reflection and our conditions here. Plus we have had great success with the Polycarbonate and Ormex Trans NG Lenses.

Great results and feedback from our clients who are wearing the new Trans NG lenses.

    Polycarbonate Transitions

Does anybody know about any Polycarbonate Transitions Varifocal in Semi finished form.

We use to use Vision Ease (Outlook Transitions), but they are no longer able to supply us with them. Their new lens Illumina Life Rx, we are having a few non-tolerance problems at the moment.

If i am correct Sola and American Optical do not do a semi finished Polycarbonate Transitions.

I believe Image have a lens and maybe younger, but these are difficult to get hold off and very expensive.

Any feedback would be gratefully excepted.

    Cheers

    Kevin

Except Ellipse CR-39 (poly and 1.67 yes). So now you have to use poly and raise the price of an already very expensive lens

Just had to rant that out.

    Hi For-Life,
    I hope all is well.
I receive the at market sales report for Canada and Varilux Ellipse Transitions Next Generation was released last autumn. That is when my sales numbers for Ellipse NG started.
