Manufacture of Transitions Lenses

Ok, this may sound like a dumb question for someone who has been an optician for a good ten years, but I have always worked in retail and don't know how this works. When a lab sells Transitions brand lenses, what product do they get from Transitions Optical? Is it a completely unfinished blank, semi-finished, etc? If you know from experience, that would be great. If you know somewhere I can view documentation on it (marketing material, online ce, etc.) that would be even better. Thanks!

The lens manufacturer supplies their semi finished blanks to transitions to be imbibed (transitions proprietary process), then the lens manufacturer gets their lenses back to sell wholesale to labs in a semi finished form. The lab then surfaces the lens and applies necessary.

Finished lenses are of course supplied to transitions for imbibbing in a finished form. I left out the agreements, contracts, payments, and stock remaking at transitions, but you get the drift.
