What do we think about McGee group? Reps easy to work with? Does product hold up? Back order problems?
I have a rep coming in to show us the product.

We brought on a couple of their lines recently and have has positive results. The price is good, quality is quite good, and the designs are easy to fit. Vera Bradley has an obvious group of fans, their cases even match. Argyle culture is like a nicer classier XXL from A&A Optics.
Vera Bradley is great unless you're near an Eyemasters or VisionWorks, who also sell them, usually for less than you can.
The Vera line does so well, that we are bringing some of the others.
Thanks all
Indeed. Creative bundling can make the whole a better value than the sum of its parts.
Hijack? Not at all.
I meant my post, o truculent one.
How would you do this? You would say "Sure the Vera frames are $129 at America's Best, but you can have a Vera complete with SV Cr39 from us for $199. Can they do that?"
That way, they'd be comparing apples to oranges, and your proposition could look better.
I like it.
If ECP's really looked at frame/lens packages from their independent lab, they could benefit from economies of scale.
Just an observation, but do a google search on McGee's brands and you will see they are sold by many online websites at big discounts. I do not have an issue with the onlines like many of the posters here. But where are the online bashers on this thread?
As far as the McGee frames go, I have never sold them, but I have seen them at VEE and they have some very nice frames. Vera Bradley in particalur is a nice line. I actually like some of the Orvis frames as well.
We've sold Vera Bradley for quite a while and done well with it but lately there have been a LOT of back orders. We're being given dates of 2 months out on some popular frames.
